Week 36 Pregnancy Update

I tried something new with my hair. What do you think?

How Far Along? 36 weeks
Total Weight Gain: 23 pounds
Maternity Clothes? Yep! It's kinda sad though, Josh's shirts can hardly cover my tummy anymore!
Stretch Marks? Tons! Although they're already starting to fade quite a bit.
Sleep: My sleep has been pretty good so far this week.
Best Moment This Week: Going out to Costa Vida for our date night!
Miss Anything? Nothing that I haven't already mentioned.
Movement: Lots! He really hasn't slowed down since his peak at 28 weeks. My doc said he should slow down soon but I have a feeling he's just going to keep on kickin'. I think this might mean that I'm going to have a wild child on my hands further down the road.
Food Cravings: Chili's bacon ranch quesadillas and their cookie brownie with ice cream on top. Yum yum yum!
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick? Fish, eggs, and peppermint
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: None yet! I think Lincoln is just going to want to keep cookin' until almost my due date.
Symptoms: My belly is officially too heavy! I keep trying to tuck my tummy (out of habit) and it hurts but when I let it all hang out, it hurts! There's no winning!
Belly Button In or Out: Out!
Wedding Ring On or Off? I've been able to put it on every day this week actually!
Happy or Moody? Happy!
Looking Forward To? Getting this baby out! I'm SO excited to meet my little boy (and the fact that I won't be pregnant anymore is a big plus!)

I'm taking bets on Lincoln's final length and weight! Also, if you want to write when you think he's going to come (either a specific day or what week of pregnancy) I'm curious to see what you think! 
I'm betting 19 and a half inches long, 8 lbs. 9 oz. and I think he'll come 4-5 days before Christmas. :)

I'm thinking somewhere in the 7 pounds :)!! I always thought I was having a big baby but he was only 6 pounds!!

Lincoln 7 Week Update

I just wanted to write a quick update on how my little peanut is doing! Lincoln is getting stronger every day! He held his head up for a whole two minutes a few days ago and his stepping reflex is working like crazy whenever I try to make him bear weight on his legs. I've got a little body builder baby! He's starting to become more aware of what's going on around him. I'll walk around with him and he's always trying to look at everything, especially our bookcases. He just loves it! He's starting to hold onto toys! I put his baby keys in his hand and he held onto them for dear life! He's starting to get interested in different sounds, he's even turning toward them! As you can see, he's smiling now! He'll smile a lot when you talk to him in a baby voice and when you make cooing noises at him. He's making more cooing sounds himself! Something Terrible Happened

I'm not sure exactly how to start this post, but I know it needs to be written. I don't want to forget this experience even though it feels so painful. Last week, I was a little over 4 weeks along and my prenatal vitamins came in the mail. I was diligently making a pregnancy test chart to compare the darkness of the test lines from the day before. I was feeling so much better than I did before our pregnancy loss last year (the second line was visible for a day and then the line disappeared and my cycle started soon after) since the test line was clearly visible, even from an arms length away. The day after I started my vitamins, I noticed that my nausea had basically gone away, something I was thrilled about since I hate feeling sick like that. My skin started breaking out worse than it had all week and I chalked it up to pregnancy hormones.
