I Should Be Folding Laundry

I can't believe my baby is 8 weeks old already! Everything has flown by so fast, I can hardly keep up! Lincoln slept from 11 PM last night till 5:30 this morning and he went back down at 6:30. He's still sleeping and its 8:30. I was just able to eat my breakfast without any interruptions, its a nice change! Lincoln loves to be bathed, especially when I pour water all over him with a cup! the one part he doesn't really like is when I wash his back. For some reason, he doesn't like it when his back gets messed with, unless he's being patted. He also loves being covered in lotion when he's all done in the bath.  Lincoln has been smiling and giggling more this last week than he ever has before! Its made my hard work and sacrifices for him all worth it! He's starting to show more of his little personality! I'll tell you, he's nothing like me already! He's pretty quitet and not too talkative. I just wanted to write a quick update on how my little peanut is doing! Lincoln is getting stronger every day! He held his head up for a whole two minutes a few days ago and his stepping reflex is working like crazy whenever I try to make him bear weight on his legs. I've got a little body builder baby! He's starting to become more aware of what's going on around him. I'll walk around with him and he's always trying to look at everything, especially our bookcases. He just loves it! He's starting to hold onto toys! I put his baby keys in his hand and he held onto them for dear life! He's starting to get interested in different sounds, he's even turning toward them! As you can see, he's smiling now! He'll smile a lot when you talk to him in a baby voice and when you make cooing noises at him. He's making more cooing sounds himself! I think he's realizing that he has a voice.  Lincoln loves his daddy so mu...

So this morning went really well. I went to the grocery store with my little peanut (and he slept the whole time!) I went out to my car and, after packing Lincoln and my food in the car, I sat in the drivers seat. Thats when I saw it. Two keys that I'd never seen before in my life. There was a Volvo key and a second that looked like it was shaved off, as if it belonged to a criminal. Just to be sure, I called Josh and asked him if he knew someone who owned a Volvo (I was hoping that they were his and he had just dropped them) He said no. So I drove home and when I got out, I noticed something else that worried me. I saw six other keys stashed barely under the drivers seat. SOMEONE WAS IN MY CAR! I quickly called the police and they took the keys back to the station. The evidence I know that it happened while I was at Fresh Market because I would have seen keys sitting on the floor by the pedals. I feel so frustrated and SO violated. Okay! These were taken the day after he was born by a photographer who works for a company called Bella Baby. They work through the hospital and they take pictures for you if you want. Then you can go online and decide if you want to purchase them after you see them. I think its a really nice system and we will definitely be using their services again! Here's a few highlights:

I'm so sorry that I didn't update my blog last week! I've been so crazy busy (or so it seems) and I couldn't find time to write! Just to warn you, this post is really random and there's a ton of pictures! I thought it was a good time for another random blog update! Here it goes. Here's a quick update on how my little peanut is doing! At least for now, he's sleeping so much better! He slept for a whole seven and a half hours last night! He's still frenzy feeding a bit but not nearly as much as he was. He's noticing his hands and sucking on them a lot! Little Lincoln is such a champ and I love him! He fits in hardly any of his 3 month clothes anymore, I have to go to Carters tomorrow to get him a whole new wardrobe! He finally started smiled at me!
