I Should Be Folding Laundry

Hey guys! I've been dying to do this post for a while now, and I'm so excited to show you all my cloth diaper stash! Lets start off with the diapers and diaper shells. This is one of my bumGenius Freetime diapers. Its the first kind of diaper I ever purchased! I have 23 of these. This is the inside with the flaps closed.  This is what it looks like open. I have 23 of these, they are all in ones, which makes diapering really quick and easy.  The white diaper is a Baby Kicks brand diaper, Outfoxed print. The blue one is a Tots Bots Easy Fit diaper with an aplix closure. I only have one of each of these. The Tots Bots diaper is probably my favorite diaper I own. I plan to buy more at some point.  This is the inside of the Tots Bots. Its an all in one with a super soft minky interior. I can't believe its already been a whole year since I started cloth diapering! Its been a wonderful journey so far and I'm excited to continue doing it. When I first started cloth diapering, Lincoln was one month old. The diapers were pretty bulky on him and I was worried they would be uncomfortable for him to wear since he was still so skinny. As the weeks went by, however, he started filling them out better so I was feeling better about using them. There were a couple times during that first month where I kept thinking, This is too much extra work or I want to go back to disposables . Those thoughts were promptly nipped in the bud by Josh, who reminded me that we spent a lot of money of those little things and he wasn't going to let them go to waste. Cloth diapering has been going so well! I know I've said this in other posts, but I love cloth diapering! I never thought that changing a diaper could be so enjoyable. Maybe its because I'm helping to save the planet or maybe its just the fact that (I believe) cloth diapers are way more comfortable than the paper disposables.  P.S. 95% of the time I have Lincoln in a disposable diaper, he has a blowout. I can't believe my baby is 8 weeks old already! Everything has flown by so fast, I can hardly keep up! Lincoln slept from 11 PM last night till 5:30 this morning and he went back down at 6:30. He's still sleeping and its 8:30. I was just able to eat my breakfast without any interruptions, its a nice change! Lincoln loves to be bathed, especially when I pour water all over him with a cup! the one part he doesn't really like is when I wash his back. For some reason, he doesn't like it when his back gets messed with, unless he's being patted. He also loves being covered in lotion when he's all done in the bath.  Lincoln has been smiling and giggling more this last week than he ever has before! There are SO many things I'm excited for and I wanted to share some of them with you all! 1: Lincoln! Obviously, I'm super excited to meet my little boy! I have just over 14 weeks till his due date and I can hardly wait! I just want him to be out and a part of our little family! 2: My cloth diapers! I ordered my first set of 6 today and I'm excited to get them. I'm still a little nervous for the whole cloth diapering thing, but I'm ready for the challenge! 3: Setting up Lincoln's (kinda) nursery! When I say kinda, I really mean kinda. He's going to share a bedroom with me and Josh till our lease is up and we upgrade to a two bedroom apartment so he isn't getting an official nursery quite yet. Josh and I have decided to cloth diaper our kids.
