Hair Products Review #1

Image
I GOT A PIXIE! And I love it :) I just wanted to make a quick post on the products I use to style my new 'do'. I had a pixie before (about 5 years ago) and I'm so glad I got one again! Here's just a quick review of each of the products I use. (All can be purchased at Target as of 5/13/2013) I bought the Cantu Shea Butter Pomade the day I got my haircut. I used to use D:fi brand pomade and I remembered that it make my hands feel greasy when I would adjust my style. This stuff, however, hardly makes your hands feel greasy, has a low shine (so it doesn't make your hair look greasy) and its extremely moldable. Its super easy to re-style your hair throughout the day, especially if your hair is monster think like mine. I also love the price: I got it for about $5! This is Pantene Medium-Thick Anti Humidity level 4 hairspray (maximum hold). I'll admit, I absolutely hated this hairspray when I had my long locks because it would make my hair look super ...

I Can't Hold It In Any Longer

Okay, I know I've written a lot of these in the past, but over the past week and a half, I've been dying to post yet again about my best friend. Lets just begin with a simple statement.  I AM HEAD OVER HEELS, OVER THE MOON, ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY IN LOVE  WITH MY HUSBAND  J OSHUA LYNN PACKER I honestly know we were meant to be together.   I can't think of anyone I'd rather spend the rest of eternity with.  Josh is truly my best friend. I have never felt more like myself than since we've been married. He helps me feel a confidence I'd never had. Josh has a great ability of making me feel adored and beautiful in a way that nobody else can.  One thing I'd like to touch on in this post is Josh's admirable work ethic.  Once June hits, he works between 80 to 100 hour weeks for the whole month. Then, from July to the beginning of September, he works between 80 to 90 hours a week. I never hear a single complaint out of his mouth, even on t...

Lincoln Week 16 and 17 Update

Image
Here's Lincoln's latest update! Lincoln has been chewing on things like crazy this week! Everything he gets in his little hands goes straight to the mouth. Watch your fingers, people, he's a biter! ;) I think he may have gone through a little growth spurt last week since he's been so miserable. He eats and sleeps a lot, plus he's been crying about 10 times more. I wish his crying was the same as when he was born; not too loud and easily soothable. Now, when he has his freakouts, there's no soothing him unless he's in a certain position while being held and he has his pacifier AT ALL TIMES... My sister took a couple videos of him while we were at Chili's the other day, and lets just say, nobody at the table could stop laughing! He's not entirely hating tummy time anymore and he's also doing a little (and I mean only a little) better with his posture and balance while sitting. He's just progressing so fast, I can hardly ...
