Happy Easter!

Image
I just wanted to write a quick post about Easter! Lincoln had a fantastic time! He got his first Easter basket, which had a Milky Way Simply Caramel candy, Spiderman and car stickers, bubbles, a bouncy ball and two Little People cars. He was thrilled! After dinner, he went on his first Easter egg hunt! The "Minefield" of eggs Once Lincoln's bag was full, my siblings collected the rest of the eggs. As you can see, they were pretty psyched by the idea! The baby 'found' an egg too! Grandma Duckie chowing down on a salad to stay out of the candy. She's a great inspiration to me when it comes to fitness and making good decisions with food! Papa and my adorable nephew Clay! My sister and I have a habit of taking strange pictures of ourselves at events like this... Madison put some bunny ears on Clay and he was less than thrilled. The three boys! Josh was melting my heart while h...

50 Things I'm Thankful For

H A P P Y   T H A N K S G I V I N G ! Since Thanksgiving is tomorrow, I thought I would make a list of some of the things I'm thankful for. Texting. I always worry about Josh working and driving around on the snowy and icy roads around the Salt Lake Valley so its nice to be able to ask if he's doing okay and if he's still safe.  The internet. Its such a blessing to have access to pretty much any information you want right at home. Blankets. I've always found comfort in blankets, whether its for snuggling up to a good movie with your husband or if its to protect from all the nighttime nasties that could be lurking in the darkness after a bad dream. Roses. They just make me happy.  Vacuum cleaners. Josh and I lived for just over a year without one of our own and when you have two birds who shed feathers everywhere, its nice to have some help with the cleanup.  Shoes. I don't think I need to explain this one. Socks. What else would I use to keep my piggies ...

Maternity Photo Shoot!

Image
Photos from the 27th! Copyrights go to Lauren Davison of Davison Photography For those of you who don't know what the picture above means, here's the story. When Josh and I were first dating, we used to Skype each other because he lived 45 minutes away. He said somewhere in that first conversation, "You just complete me." And he made a circle with his hands. I replied, "No, it has to be a heart!" So he made this symbol. We both agreed it didn't look much like a heart but more like an arrowhead. So we say, You Complete My Arrowhead :)

Family Pictures Today!

Plus a mini maternity shoot for me and Josh. I'm terribly excited since the last family pictures we had taken with my WHOLE family was at my wedding! I'll be sure to post those when my photographer gets them back to us. :) Here's the link to her website! http://davisonphotography.wordpress.com/ P.S. The gorgeous lady at the top of the screen is my mom!

Family Matters

So, I'm sure I'll be mentioning my parents and siblings names at some point in this so I thought it might be fun to make an all-about-family blog post. Complete with pictures. So lets start from the top. Here's my dad. He's as goofy as he is awesome. I love him so much and he's so excited to be a grandpa!!! Some people think he looks like Mitt Romney. I'm tempted to agree. :) Here is my overly gorgeous Mother. I couldn't ask for a better mom!! Here's Eric. He's my oldest brother. (As far as I know) He wants to be a military chaplain or a teacher. As you can see from this example, he looks a whole lot like Cary Elwes from the Princess Bride. (he's the on on the far left...) I promise he's not always this serious. I'll add some funnies of him at the end!!! Here's my sister-in-law Marisa. Can anyone say Anne Hathaway look-alike??? Here's Cameron, my other brother. He's ...
