Lincoln Weeks 13, 14 &15 Update

I'm just going to say, sorry sorry sorry! I've been so busy and distracted for the last three weeks. Here's Lincoln's latest update!


Lincoln has been so good at grabbing things! As you can see, he's able to grab two things at once! Also, as you can see, he's starting to stuff things in his mouth.


He's starting to babble a lot more. Those little oohs and aahs make me smile! I think its so cute how he's learning how to use his little voice. He's even squealing when he thinks things are funny! His giggle just gets me every time!


He's starting to hate being patted! Whenever I try to bend him over to pat his back after he eats, he starts to cry and he makes himself as stiff as a board so he can't be bent in half. 


He's been sleeping so well, even though we've stopped swaddling him. As long as he has his pacifier, he'll sleep for about two hours at a time for his naps during the day and he'll sleep for seven+ hours at night. I'm so glad he's a good sleeper!


He's showing more of his personality every day and its getting so exciting. According to my mother-in-law, Josh and Lincoln were similar at this age so I'm guessing he's going to be like Josh. Lincoln has started to be less cuddly, which kind of makes me sad but he's doing so good at holding his head up and he's been rolling over more consistently. He's also liking standing on his feet. Sometimes, its the only way to get him to stop crying! 


I feel so blessed every day to have such a wonderful little boy in my life!

Something Terrible Happened

I'm not sure exactly how to start this post, but I know it needs to be written. I don't want to forget this experience even though it feels so painful. Last week, I was a little over 4 weeks along and my prenatal vitamins came in the mail. I was diligently making a pregnancy test chart to compare the darkness of the test lines from the day before. I was feeling so much better than I did before our pregnancy loss last year (the second line was visible for a day and then the line disappeared and my cycle started soon after) since the test line was clearly visible, even from an arms length away. Three More Weeks

     So Josh and I finally saved enough to make one of our dreams come true... We are buying a house!       We looked at a grand total of three properties. The first one we looked at we loved, but we found out the day after we looked at it that there is a mold problem that has been going on for the past ten years. We immediately got as far away as possible, and started looking at the properties our realtor sent us through email. We found two more townhomes that looked interesting, so she scheduled the showings.      We looked at them both on October 11th. We Got The Keys!

        We got the keys on Tuesday! It feels so weird to hold the key to our house  in my hands. Its surreal, and I still haven't gotten used to it!      The boys and I went over to collect the keys and garage door openers and it felt so good walking in. I can't believe that its only one more day until we are in our own house! It will be just wonderful!      If I remember, I will take pictures of moving in and I'll make a post! Thanks for reading!
