Just Because

So I'm sitting here, with my favorite little man in my arms and I wanted to make a quick little update on how he's doing.


Lincoln slept for a whole 4 hours last night! It was so refreshing to get a decent amount of sleep in one go! Also, Lincoln's stump fell off this morning, so we can finally give him a decent bath now! 

He did something amazing yesterday while we were doing a bit of tummy time with little Lincoln. He rolled over, twice. I wish I had been filming it because even I couldn't believe it! Next time we do tummy time, I'll have my camera ready and hopefully I can get the video to upload on here (I've been having issues with it lately) so I can show all of you! Also, he's holding up his head pretty well already and I'm so impressed with his muscles!

So just to finish off this post, a picture of Josh and my son. I love seeing them together, it really melts my heart! :)

P.S. I've recently gotten out of an awful spell of writers block so I'm making some good headway on my latest novel. I finally have something to do during the long hours that Lincoln is asleep!

Its a love story :) It's still part-way in the planning phase so some of the kinks still need to be smoothed out, but that's the basic idea.

I'm not sure exactly how to start this post, but I know it needs to be written. I don't want to forget this experience even though it feels so painful. Last week, I was a little over 4 weeks along and my prenatal vitamins came in the mail. I was diligently making a pregnancy test chart to compare the darkness of the test lines from the day before. I was feeling so much better than I did before our pregnancy loss last year (the second line was visible for a day and then the line disappeared and my cycle started soon after) since the test line was clearly visible, even from an arms length away. Three More Weeks

     So Josh and I finally saved enough to make one of our dreams come true... We are buying a house!       We looked at a grand total of three properties. The first one we looked at we loved, but we found out the day after we looked at it that there is a mold problem that has been going on for the past ten years. We immediately got as far away as possible, and started looking at the properties our realtor sent us through email. We found two more townhomes that looked interesting, so she scheduled the showings.      We looked at them both on October 11th. We Got The Keys!

        We got the keys on Tuesday! It feels so weird to hold the key to our house  in my hands. Its surreal, and I still haven't gotten used to it!      The boys and I went over to collect the keys and garage door openers and it felt so good walking in. I can't believe that its only one more day until we are in our own house! It will be just wonderful!      If I remember, I will take pictures of moving in and I'll make a post! Thanks for reading!
